About Danielle
Danielle Mijo-Burch is a multidisciplinary artist from Tacoma, WA with over a decade of experience in communications, print/digital design, and illustration.
She’s spent the better part of her career working with non-profit organizations and universities to make the strength of their visual branding reflect the quality of their programs. Nowadays, she takes on meaningful creative projects from her home in lower mainland BC, Canada.
Danielle speaks with a warmth, humor, and candor that has made her a go-to speaker and workshop instructor over the years. She has been a guest speaker for university classes, community groups, and marketing professionals. She’s also hosted beginner-level creative workshops for students (high school and older), organizers and activists, adult English Language Learners, frontline social services staff, and other professionals who didn’t know that basic design/communication skills would be so necessary to their work.
Danielle holds a bachelor’s in Ethnic, Gender, and Labor Studies from the University of Washington.

“Danielle was an amazing leader and mentor. No matter how many times I asked the same question, she was always willing to answer it and help me move along in my training. She always had a positive attitude and was always motivating employees to do their most excellent work.
Would work for Danielle again in any capacity in the future.”
